Texas Day 11

Mainly a travel day today as the route map above shows.

We did however get some good birding in on Galveston Island. There was a great little site which featured some good woodland and some wetland habitat. A few warbler spp; Yellow, Tennessee, Blackpoll, Worm eating and most interesting for me, Prothonotary. [A lifer!]. Also Scarlet Tanager - although i missed that one. And a nice Baltimore Oriole. We also got excellent views of Wilson's Snipe.
